Printable Sight Word Bingo
Every card is different. Print one, press New sheet, print the next.
How to play
- Print a different card for each child. Use counters, cereal or a crayon to mark words.
- Read a word from the list. Say it in a sentence too, for look-alikes like was and saw.
- Children cover the word if it's on their card. The middle square is free.
- Five in a row wins. The winner reads their row aloud to check.
Make it harder or easier
Easier: play with a level your class knows well, or hold the word up as you say it. Harder: let a child be the caller, which means reading every word aloud. For a quick warm-up, play to one line, then to a full card.
Questions
Where's the calling list?
Tick Answer key for the words on the current card, or use the list on any Dolch level page. Each level has more than 24 words, so a card never holds them all.
Do I need a different card per child?
Yes, or everyone wins at once. Press New sheet before printing each one.
Is it really free?
Yes. Print as many as you like for home or class. Each sheet carries our web address at the bottom, and that's the only catch.

An app is on the way
We're building a Wordburrow app for iPhone. The plan is everything you can play here, plus offline play and a parent view of the words that have stuck. It isn't out yet. The whole game is free here in the meantime.
