Your list, our game
Turn Any Word List Into a Game
Type or paste the words from school. Wordburrow builds all fourteen mini games around them and gives you a link to share.
For teachers: one link for the whole class
- Paste this week's words and tap Copy link for families.
- Drop the link into your newsletter, Google Classroom or class page.
- Every child plays the same words at their own pace, at home or in class.
- Print matching flash cards for the word wall.
Questions
Do you store my list?
No. The words live in the link itself, so there's nothing to sign up for and nothing saved on a server.
How many words can I add?
Up to 30. A small list works best for young children: the game cycles through each word several times per round.
Will Missing Word work with my list?
For Dolch words, yes. Words we haven't written a sentence for use a simple stand-in sentence instead.
Is Wordburrow really free?
Yes. The whole game plays free in your browser, with no signup, no ads and no time limit. An iPhone app is in the works, and the web game stays free.

An app is on the way
We're building a Wordburrow app for iPhone. The plan is everything you can play here, plus offline play and a parent view of the words that have stuck. It isn't out yet. The whole game is free here in the meantime.
